thanks, I'm looking forward for that update. :)

I've tried as you suggested, using xfontsel, however it still has absolutely no effect.
I've put some printf's into apc_misc.c and it seems the first call to apc_fetch_resource()
is successful (ignoreEncodings or so), but the subsequently following font-related calls
seem to fail for yet unknown reason.

I'd appreciate it a lot if you could drop me a short note when there's an update concerning
this problem available from CVS.
