Hi,

Has anyone used Prima on a SuSE 10.0 X86_64 machine ? It'd be nice,
but Prima does not find the X11 libraries:

perl Makefile.PL
Setting up working environment.
Determining compiler type... GNU
Version: 1.20
Checking if can compile... yes
Checking if can link... yes
X11 includes found in /usr/X11R6/include
Prima needs X11 libraries for compilation! Set X11BASE='/path/to/X' if
you have a non-standard path to X. (see also makefile.log for details)

I've tried with:

export X11BASE=/usr/lib/X11
export X11BASE=/usr/X11
export X11BASE=/usr/X11/lib

The makefile.log starts with (sorry for the line format from the e-mail
editor) :

pmts0000.c:7:1: error: exponent has no digits
pmts0000.c: In function ‘main’:
pmts0000.c:7: error: syntax error before ‘No’

cc -D_REENTRANT -D_GNU_SOURCE -DTHREADS_HAVE_PIDS -DDEBUGGING
-fno-strict-aliasing -pipe -D_LARGEFILE_SO URCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
-O2 -fmessage-length=0 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -g -pipe -Iinclude
-Iinclude/gene ric
-I/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.7/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/CORE -DHAVE_CONFIG_H=1
-o /tmp/pmts0000 -L/lib64 -L /usr/lib64 -L/usr/local/lib64
-L/usr/local/lib /tmp/pmts0000.c -lm

Has anyone got this to work on a Novell SuSE (9.3, 10.0, and probably
the upcoming versions) 64-bit machine ?

The Prima source was taken from the CPAN today.

Cheers.
